Who We Are At a Glance
Since 2021, Ubuntu Spirit is a dedicated nonprofit organization based in Ft. Myers, Florida, committed to combating hunger and fostering community well-being. Founded on the principle of “Ubuntu,” which means “I am because we are,” our organization believes in the interconnectedness of humanity and the importance of caring for one another. We provide over 600 meals per month to individuals in our community.
Ubuntu incorporated as a 501(c)(3) organization in 2023 and has continued to operate as a non-profit since!
What We Give
Food
Our volunteers distribute over 100 meals per week to individuals and families experience food insecurity
Resources
Upon request, we seek out new or gently used clothing for our community members in need

We are creating support systems that ensure our community has access to nutritious meals
